Welcome to information super highway....

So I have a personal blog, twitter, and facebook page.  As a band director I maintain a band twitter and facebook page. In addition to those resources we have an account with ischoolband which is a social network for our program. There is a school website that must be maintained as well.  "I didn't know" is not an excuse anymore!

On a side note, I forget to update pages or post the same post multiple times.

And so it begins...

I am starting this blog as a project for an online class. I hope that it becomes a useful way to communicate and share information. Since I am the ONLY music educator in our system I don't always have the luxury of talking/venting with other band directors about the many things I encounter in a day. I am looking forward to using this new tool to connect with others that experience the same things that I do.  I also hope to share some stories of not only being an educator but also being a husband and father.
